Maasai Water Project

Water is a vital resource for communities around the world. In Africa, and particularly in Tanzania, semi-nomadic communities like the Maasai face significant challenges in accessing this essential resource.

Through the Maasai Water Project, we have supported several communities by building wells and dams to collect rainwater for domestic use and to provide water for their livestock during the dry season. So far, we have constructed three dams in Mto wa Mbu, which have been truly life-changing for the local communities.

Interestingly, these water sources also attract wildlife, meaning that the benefits of our project extend beyond the communities to support local ecosystems and wildlife survival.

We are currently expanding this project to reach more communities across the areas of Tarangire, Mto wa Mbu, and north of Arusha.

Welcome, to the Dove Foundation.

The Dove Foundation is a remarkable initiative developed by our dedicated team, aimed at improving access to education and healthcare for children in communities surrounding our business establishments. Officially launched in 2016, the foundation was created to support families who lack access to free healthcare, quality education, and adequate housing.

Our team members generously donate a portion of their monthly salaries to this cause, enabling us to provide:

Free education and medical care for over 20 children
Better and accessible housing for two families

We believe that education is a fundamental tool that can significantly shape the future of society when young children have access to it. Our mission is to expand this impact, reaching even more children in need.

Beyond education and housing, our goals have grown to include a variety of community-focused projects:

Healthcare kits donated to hospitals in Arusha, Karatu, and Tarangire
Tree planting campaigns, led by our team member Elia, to promote environmental sustainability
Street dog welfare initiatives, helping reduce the number of stray dogs and improve their health and safety
Water projects in Maasai villages to improve access to clean water
